Chicken Tikka Premix

Ingredients:

Cashew, fried onion, salt, corn flour, sugar, turmeric, milk powder, kasuri methi, garlic powder, ginger powder, red chili powder, cardamom powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, oil, garam masala, fennel, orange-red color, black cardamom, cloves, green cardamom, cinnamon, bay leaf, star anise, peppercorns.


What You Need:

  • 250g boneless chicken

  • 2 tablespoons curd

  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder

  • ½ tablespoon ginger garlic paste

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • 6 tablespoons oil (divided)

  • 100g tomato puree (or puree of 1½ tomatoes)

  • 1 packet of Mum's Magic Chicken Tikka Premix

  • 300ml water

  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • 2 tablespoons fresh cream


Cooking Instructions:

1. Marinate the Chicken:
In a bowl, mix 250g boneless chicken with 2 tablespoons curd, 1 teaspoon red chili powder, ½ tablespoon ginger garlic paste, and ½ teaspoon salt. Set aside for 15 minutes.

2. Cook the Chicken:
Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan. Add the marinated chicken and cook for 10–12 minutes until golden and tender.

3. Prepare the Premix:
In a separate bowl, mix 1 packet of Mum's MagicChicken Tikka Premix with 300ml water and stir well to dissolve completely.

4. Cook the Sauce Base:
In another pan, heat 4 tablespoons of oil. Add 100g tomato puree (or puree of 1½ tomatoes) and sauté until the oil separates.

5. Combine and Simmer:
Add the premix mixture to the pan, followed by the cooked chicken. Stir and cook for 2 minutes.

6. Finish with Butter & Cream:
Add 2 tablespoons butter and 2 tablespoons fresh cream. Mix well and cook for another minute.

7. Serve Hot:
Your flavorful Chicken Tikka is ready! Serve it with naan, paratha, or steamed rice for a perfect meal.
